Three trends

E-Books, E-Kids, E-Flat! Three trends schools will ignore at their peril

This workshop explores three major changes being evidenced today: 1) the prevalence of ubiquitous digital information sources, 2) the defined attributes of a “Net” generation, and 3) the rise of a global economy. Each change will be discussed along with strategies that schools and educators can use to stay relevant in their students’ lives. For warned is for armed!

Three trends

Written comments about this workshop:

  • The most stimulating presentation I have attended in many years.
  • Very entertaining and informative.
  • I want to thank Doug Johnson for delivering a motivating workshop with so many great ideas!!!  I honestly did not want to leave as Doug Johnson was making it so much fun!  I do believe in so many of the items he mentioned about moving toward so much more technology as that is where the majority of the students are learning a great deal.
